Other TaxPayers’ Alliance website to relaunch

After a long and very poorly timed break, I’m pleased to say the Other TaxPayers’ Alliance is back in action. A new-look website is on its way, and in the meantime I’ve contributed to Liberal Conspiracy’s debate on how best to fight the cuts.

This site’s unplanned absence (see below) is a reminder that we need to build a stronger and more effective infrastructure on the left - even if we lack the resources currently flooding into right-wing thinktanks and campaigns. Over the next few weeks I’ll be exploring ways of better working with other organisations to put this campaign on a more solid footing.

Please do send your thoughts, contributions and articles - and if you already blog elsewhere I’m always happy to cross-post.

On a personal note…

What was supposed to be short break (on account of the success of MyDavidCameron.com), unfortunately turned into longer break due to my daughter being diagnosed with a serious medical condition. If nothing else it has made me more grateful for the gleaming new children’s hospital - built under the last government - that treats her, and to the staff who work there. I’d especially like to thank all of the readers of this site who sent kind words.
